Well I have been thinking of updating my Max to a A32 series 1997 model called the Nissan MAxima 30GV.
It is the top of the line flagship odel here in Australia. It has all power options. Driver and passenger airbags, leather seats, sunroof you name it. Even a TV.
But the shape is a little different and hard to get used too. They only came in Automatic, which seem to have no history of problems. It has Nissans VQ 3 Litre Engine and is very powerful "142 KWS".
I like our model shape and ,ust admit I love my car so much. Im stil thinking......... Any suggestions???

Here is a pic of it.

Its the Infiniti I30 in the US. Your car is starting to get a little older. What mileage do you have? How has the car been running? Have you performed all services? You you really like your car, keep it for another 2 years, at which point it will be 10 years old. Then you can get a 1999 or 2000 for the same amount of money you would have paid for this one.

IMHO and without wanting to sound like a killjoy, don't do it.

For what thats worth, say $20-25kAU you could buy something seriously fun like a 96/97 200SX or WRX. What about a R32/33 GTSt Skyline or early Pulsar GTI-R (Yummy).

Z32 TT?

If you want four doors and no turbo, how about an R33 four door or EF/EL XR6/8 (w/Capa Supercharger).

If you want to stay with the Maxima's find a '95 5-speed. Rare but around, theres a burgundy one at my local dealer now for $15990.

The alternatives to the Max in the J30 price range are nowhere near as appealing as the alternatives in the A32 range. And if you don't really like the shape well....
