silver lining

Well, the max was pulled today for $500, and while she was being towed, my mind was made up. F**K pontiac, I'm getting another 3rd gen. Only i'm getting a 5-speed and hopefully an SE with leather.

i guy from work bought my car for $500, he's putting the engine and tranny in his 94 gxe. and if it came down to a pontiac, sunfires blow, their chick cars, i was thinking more along the lines of a 97 or newer grand prix GTP.

sunfire GT had a good power to weight ratio and was pretty dam quick back in 96.
the Sunbirds (as old as a3rd gen) were available with turbos and V-6s they were also fun to drive.
these days, I'm waiting for the ax to fall on them, buick and GMC. They're all redundant.

BTW anyone wanna buy a VE?
