how would that work? the gauge faces on the se and gxe are differnt. one goes to 125, the other to 145 and the legnths between the mph's r different too. you'd get incorrect readouts.

good, i want to do that with my 93 maxima GXE... those se clusters look dam good! and the gauge needles too! i would post pics of my car but the only cam i have is a old polaroid..., i buy disposables all the time. im saving for a digital. by the way, the 3rd generation maximas are very durable. i see a lot of them every day.

not true. it will still work and im not the only one that did this swap. just get the VE cluster though and it will work fine in ur car. no need to calibrate the needs just install it and thats it.
