help with shaking car

sometimes when in 2 or 3 gear my car will begin to shake and it sounds like a rock is stuck in the tire or something. it will go away after a while but happens almost every time i drive. i inspected the tires and it seemed good. the sound is in the rear so someone told me it could be the e brake causing it. has anyone had this problem before?

Hav u checked that theres not a rock stuck in the tire or something?

Serriously: how many miles total/since shock change?

Lift the car rear up and check for any looseness or bad bearrings... Tire pressure & overall condition: swap tires.

maybe busted strut, the one i had that was completely shot would make me have horrible wheel hop like the wheel was hopping down the road rather than rolling. also make sure your tires are balanced

not sure about the struts, but i double checked and no rocks or anything loose. the wheels are balanced. It only happens once in a while, if i drive for 30 min, it will happen once or twice and only last a few minutes then go away. tire press is ok to.

im just going from experience. my blown one was on pass rear. it would be really noticable when i was going a constant speed. if i slowed down, it went away. how old/what type of struts you got?

i guess just take it to a shop and have then test it. if youre mechanically inclined, you can do the job yourself, there is a writeup at 4dsc.com
