For those of you with 97-99 SE wheels..

I have already ordered my tires, and they should be on this week. A few questions... After I get the new rims/tires on, do I need to get alignment?? New tire size wil be 215/55/16, on my stock wheels I have the stock 205/65/15.
Did you guys just your original lug nuts with the new SE wheels??
And I want to get some wheel locks, what kind/brand should I get, or are they all the same??

thanx

I would get an allignment if I were you just cause its new rubber and all and you dont want it to wear away prematurely.

Im not sure if you can use the original lugs cause they have have a different taper on them.

What I would do if I were you would be to hit NAPA or something and get a lug nut for a 97-99 SE and see if the threads match your studs (they should...I dont see why not at least). If so then buy the whole set, and wheel locks from Nissan or wherever. Good Luck

Go to a wheel shop and they will have alot of lugnut choices, when i got my rims they put on motegi racing lug nuts, so you dont have to get something nissan specific.

12x1.25 is what lug nuts youll need, but i dont see why you would even need new lugs....same size and all.

I didn't. I went to Nissan to buy the chrome-coloured nuts that were closed off, reasons being mainly for looks and to a lesser degree, to protect the ends of the wheel stud. If you can afford the alignment, go for it. I recently put on Toyo Proxes TPT on my SE rims.

Definitely get an alignment. N34JZ got me my lug nuts he went to his local wheel shop and they sold him longer and covered lug nuts. It was like 20 bucks for the complete set. Get the alignment it will help the tires, last longer that is.
