I have two i will be working on. First e36 hlamps into my max. Install sound system after alarm. Finish overhauling suspension; paint it and rim it. Then the big project is putting a q45 motor into my z32. That's why I am putting a rush on the max so I can start on the z. Probably won't finish it until end of year. Because I won't bring it out until it's done. And I have plenty to do to it but since this is a max board and not a z board. I won't get too far into it

I could get the cat out easy if I trusted my wooden garage floor a little more

The carb needs adjustment (it's running rich and sputters around corners) and the electric choke needs to be wired and hooked up. I can probably do the choke, but meh. I barely even have any SAE tools. They are all metric.

How hard is the electric choke to do? Because my car doesnt have a choke and i know it will be a pain in the mornings.

Too tired to work on the car. 3 engine swaps, about 5-6 tranny swaps, 4-6 clutch jobs, stripped out spark plut and 1,000 wheels later, I don't give a damn!

Um okay I won't comment on how rookie that is to do. BTW I received the parts, thanks.

Odd though. Usually I get a tool set, the SAE sizes are the ones I take out and bury somewhere. haha.

But just go down to a pawn shop and pick up some sae wrenches/sockets. I have doubles for most of my metrics.

I don't own more than 2 wrenches total currently

Pawn shops are in bad neighborhoods, nice guys like me don't go there.

Glad you got the parts, took longer than I expected then.

wth? haha. Geez. Around here, there are pawn shops all around. They don't have that ghetto stigma anymore. You see them across the street from casinos now too. haha

If you dont want it to sound ghetto, just say that you are trying to make your car look like a rear wheel drive car with the big tires in the rear. Then you will be a poser instead of ghetto.

I haven't updated my sig. The insurance company was giving me a whole bunch of crap about how the airbag needed to be replaced. The other guy didnt have insurance so mine considered it a liability unless I got it professionally installed. That would have taken me back however much new airbags were. The insurance company would not have released me my check unless i had proof of a professionally installed airbag (by the dealer). This meant i could have kept the car to part it out only after dropping a grand or so into the airbag. So, i stripped it as much as I could. I would have gotten about $3,300 after the buy back, so my funds would have been about 2 grand to fix and replace and paint....hood, bumper, headlights, front signals, right fender, radiator support, radiator, radiator fan shroud, and a snapped tranny mount. Those were the only visible problems, but I was worried that other things might have popped up. I gave in, took a $3925 check after deductible. I stripped the car of all aftermarket parts besides the ss brake lines (just didn't want to mess with the fluid). I currently have an A$$load of parts which i plan on selling once i figure out my vehicle plans. I am talking to cheocwa about his max, and hopefully buy that one. Then it's time to sell. If anyone has modding plans, most of my sig list should pop up for sale if i buy cheocwas already modded max.

hmm in step form i guess

1.Install my stillen kit
2.Ae style headlight mod (just like aswm66 i lovors his car)
3.Paint it gloss black with possibly a blue kandy ovretop ,not 100% sure yet since I do love just black
4. Exhaust studs
5. rebuild VTCs
6. P&P heads i got from redmax92se
7. Start buying turbo parts
8. murano wheels
9. get front seats recovered (new leather mmm) and have the maxima logo stiched into the headrest
10. wash it maybe

then for fall/winter i am going with some tockikos/eibach setup for suspension, hopeflly finish buying turbo parts and get that racket working, maybe a magnaflow... now all i need to do is rob a bank so i dont have to spend every cent on the stupid thing

RTFM
Adjust the floats for corners, Not sure what carb you have so cant help too much on the rich part. Just add more air or do what I said first and EFI w000w000 . I believe its a Holley so floats should be fairly simple.

The only time I'll ever do that is if it doesn't require that much torque, and I'm using a 6 point. Then again I dont have to since I have a healthy collection of SAE and Metric 6pt and 12pt from uber tiny to about 24mm/1-1/4th 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" . Using metric 12points and any wrenches is pretty much just asking for it.
