Is it possible to put 6x9 speakers in the front end of a 93 maxima considering they come with tiny factory speakers with plastic casing?

take out the plastic housing

and cut a big hole in it to fit the speakers. if not, make your own board to mount them on.

why would you want to do that? oval speakers are the worst shape possible for speakers. put in a nice set of components or coaxials. you'll be happier in the end.
