fog light ques

fog light ques

if i buy a pair of aftermarket foglights, can i just splice into my existing wiring or do i have to use the relays and wriring that comes with it? they are 55w h3 bulbs in the lights.

should be able to, but worst comes to worst you can just grab a signal from the existing wiring

yes u can splice them in to pre-existing wiring you just wont have total control over them like turning on just parking lights and fogs? it has been some time but if my memory serves me correctly you have to have the headlights on in order to have the foglights to work

u can just go to Craig Brace's site and just read on how to re-wire ur stock fogs or aftermarket fogs. i did it and it works with headlights on and off and with high beam on as well.

yes, you wil not have total control, you wanna know why??? it is illegal, so the manufacturers nmade it like that. i found this out at the DMV.
