Possible problem with distributor?
This only happened twice but, when it rains really hard something gets wet under the hood and the car has a problem starting and staying on when in the lower rpm range, but after a little while it works fine. any ideas?

On misty weather, moist from air is sucked into this Glycol particle like a sponge. On wirings, this micro size water droplet -family reunion will give electrons place to escape the shortest route to ground. Definitely its smtg else than your spark plug..
The Nissan installed wires may be like this; that is where conductor is better than resistor. Here the electrons have some difficulty to do their intended business...:
