If you think you're having fuel injector problems.

Try some Marvel Mystery Oil in your gas! I've used Techron, Gumout, STP, FP, and other injector cleaners, but nothing works like MMO!

For starters, its a light oil, so you only need like 10 ounces or so for your gas tank, but an overdose shouldn't hurt too bad. I was having trouble with injectors not wanting to operate right all the time, and I had a slight ticking from the engine, which may have been an injector. Now, my idle has smoothed out and the car has quieted down! Before spending $$$ to replace your injectors (sorry, internetautomar ) try some MMO. I'm interested to see how the car goes with MMO in it after the 100 mile Interstate trip I have on friday.

I got my 32 ounce bottle at KMart for $3.19

Wal-Mart also sells it, and I know the local farm supply store does too. I'm not sure about seeing it often at car parts stores, but I never look, heh.

ATF is a bit thicker.

And by a bit, I mean a lot. ATF doesn't smell like root beer mixed with WD40 either

They've been making MMO since the early 1920s...seems that it has a wide range of uses :-o

smell of wd40 is a smell of kerosene. There is no mystery here.

MMO works wonders. I beleive in it 100%. my first max went 390,000 miles on MMO. It would have went more but I retired it after they stole the stereo. I used it faithfully as a substitute for 1 quart of oil at every oil change
