Eurolite Headlights

I've read a few places that Eurolite lights do look good but dont actually provide that much lighting. Are there any pics of them on a Max, and can anyone verify this information? Thanks

These I'm pretty sure fit our cars.

Its from Crutchfield's vehicle selector. But I'm more interested in just how they look and if they provide sufficient lighting.

just make sure they use stock wattage. a lot of those 'hyperwhite' bulbs operate above the stock wattage...and that's just asking for trouble for our stock harness.

I melted my harnesses with just silverstars.

Yea I never had a problem with melted harnesses luckily, I've had some cheapo superwhite bulbs from Wal-Mart(G&E or something like that I think it was), PIAA hyperwhites and now I finally got real HIDs which are sick. All my friends tho run Silverstars and if I were to switch back, thats what I'd go with. They are relatively cheap, run stock wattage not above stock as AscendantMax had said before and honestly, I'd say they produce the best looking color out of the two other non HID bulbs i had. Of cource, now that i have HID's I dont know how I could go without them

I remember someone in these forums having Eurolite headlights listed in their sig. I know Silverstars are great but these Eurolites are supposed to replicate the look of HIDs. I just wanted to see how they actually looked and hear some feedback from some owners if there are any.

I Always Use Silverstars And I Would Never Switch I Love Them. But They Do Get Really Hot So I Wouldnt Be Suprised If It Melted The Harness.

I have similar fake HID bulbs. Nubiannupe recommended them to me. They are called XD5s and you can find them on ebay. They look pretty good when lit up. Mine are stock wattage and I have had them two years with no harness meltage.

It seems to me like the fake HID (hyperwhite or whatever) don't do very well on wet roads at night. They seem better than stock when it's dry out, though. This is just my opinion.

After having real HIDs in my QX4, none of these fakes compare, though. If I could afford it, I would put HIDs in my Maxima, too.

I tried the XD5's as well. here's a comparison pic I took awhile back:

the XD5's are whiter, but the silverstars puts out much more usable light onto the road.

Yeah I've decided on just going for the Silverstar High Performance Halogen that has a 4000K light temp. Seems the next best thing to HID itself.

I have them... and NO. They look good, but not that much light. I put a set of driving lights on with the Eurolite H3 bulbs just to get some more light. But I have a nice 10 mile dark drive from my house to the city. And I need the light.
