My car is green 94 SE. The car is shiny, but the spoiler seems to have been damaged by the sun. It has lost all its shine and is a very dull green. Colorback and waxes don't seem to help. Any Ideas?

Yes. I have an idea. Paint it.

Did you try a compound? Depending how bad it is Meguire's Clear Coat Body Scrub might work. Painting is the definative answer, but if worse comes to worse I might be willing to part with my stock spoiler. I think it is still in pretty decent condition. Maybe missing some of the mounting doohickey's though.

the solution

put tons of WD-40 on it and it soaks it up and gets a lot of its color back. Try this if you have a similar problem
