Need Help: Part num. or name for this hose?

Its the hose (the curved hose), that goes from the thermostat housing (water outlet housing) up to the temp sensor, etc... Anyone know the part number or actual name atleast?

AutoZone.com (Diagram Pic) of the hose:

try checking with the dealer, I know it's not the cheapest option, but hey, you could at least walk out of there with a part number for cross reference or the name of the hose.

Another thing you can do is to take the hose off , then take it to your local parts store [i.e autozone, advance auto, etc.] and tell them what car its for and see if they can match it up for you.

Needed it quick cause the hose blew today and was leaking fast which left me stuck at a friends house (on his block.) and i had 45mins to get the part num/name and go to the Autozone which was luckily only a couple blocks away, get the hose and swap it out before they closed. but the "oh so knowledgable" kids at the Autozone were telling me at first, such a hose for the max didnt exist and i was wrong about what kind of hose it was and etc... they claimed to have checked their inventory on the computer and no such hose existed. so i figured it would be a million times easier and faster to have the part number so i could get it before they closed at 10pm. so i just bought the universal flex hose cause they were about to close when i finally made it back there (cause i didnt find the part num. yet) but i'm just gonna return that cause i would have to cut up the one on there now just to get it off and then if the universal don't fit then im stuck with no hose at 12am and no car.... so i guess i'll just have to fill it back up with water, drive home as fast as possible before overheating and go to Nissan and get the hose tomorrow. the reason its a pain in the *** is cause of the time limit i had, stuff i had to do and my car is the only car in my family right now. so i have to find a ride to get what i need... etc. but thanks to anyone who replied or helps me with the part number.

Sucks for you guys, the AZ's around here rock.

They dont have the right size tubing they can just cut a foot off? I thought thats how they did all their tubing....any way just make them find any hose of the right diamiter, and cut to length.

That may not work because the tubing has to have bends in it, because if there are creases then the water wont flow correctly.

Problem fixed, Thanks for all the input!...

but special thanks to Matt93se... Quote: "A little late, but that hose is usually called a "bypass hose"..

Long story short.. next day (night) went back to autozone, gave them the car info, said it was a "bypass hose," decribed how it looked and they found it in 5 mins. had a flashlight and a couple tools with me and swapped it out right in the parking lot, filled the coolant back up and done job... now its fine.

But again Thank you to all that replied and if anyone needs anything, feel free to ask and i'll do my best... anything from website design & PC related (Bowenmedia.com), Music production (soundclick.com/Petemagnum), cars(Max's), etc...
