Finally the suspension is on! Freshly washed pics.
Well after a year and a half of having these parts, I got them installed. The setup is Intrax springs and Koni strut inserts. It was a pain in the *** to put in the Konis, but its done nicely and we fixed the back brakes as well because apparently they didn't work and haven't worked for a long time. Anyway, I was expecting the ride to be really uncomfortable, but it really isn't and I like it better than it was before. The car stays firmly planted on the ground and is very smooth. Now for the pics:

Car looks nice and clean. I don't think I have seen those wheels before on a 3rd gen and they look really good. I like the no spoiler look on SEs and also any car with a kit.
Personally, I would ditch the Intrax sticker, but that's no biggie. It's not like you have a long list of stickers somewhere on it.

to max723: I'm sure tokicos will hold up fine unless you're racing daily
to supercross: the tires are 225/40/18
to aminus21: the bumper itself is original...but I re-painted it with the plastikote spray-on primer/paint/clear.
thanks to all for the comments

that looks real nice. i got a question tho. my 1990 maxima se sits very strangely. the rear sits very low, while the front sits higher. the front looks like its supposed to look with stock suspension parts, however the rear looks like its been lowered. the car is stock, except for tires and rims, and it looked like this when i got the car. it was grandmothers, and it only has 67,000 miles on it, but she really didnt keep up with repairs, so it still has the original shocks and springs all around. would you suggest changing the shocks and springs, or do u think it could be a problem elsewhere in the suspension? thanks for ur help.

Sweet looking ride. I have an 89 max the same color and am wanting to lowering it. My struts are blown and I have a set of KYB's to put on but I am trying to figure out what springs to get. I know alot of people reccommend the Eibachs or Intrax, but I ve also seen B + G and Springtech. Any advice from all you Maxperts out there??

im looking at dropping mine on b&g's. they are more of a drop than eibch and are still progressive wound. im not sure if kybs would hold up to more than eibachs though. i thought i read they would blow. im still tryin to figure out if tokicos would be ok with a 1.6 drop.

Hi Max723,
Where did you read that? I don't plan on driving my car that aggressively and want something thats still comfortable for day to day driving but I like the lowered look. I am currently running 18" wheels with 235/40 18's on them.

i read it here on the forums a while back before i lowered my first car. i went with eibach/tokicos on my first max. handled great but i wanted somethin a little lower for my 5 spd. with eibach your wheel gap is about 1 or 2 fingers. from what i understood kybs were more of an oe replacement than performance strut/shock. if found that most people with intrax, suspension tech, etc were using konis but i dont wanna go through the hassle of cutting my stock struts
