when driving my tranny will shift out of gear in 2nd and 3rd. sometimes while shifting into first and second it will seem like its in second. while driving today in third it shifted out of gear and stalled. i can start the car right up but it keeps going out of gear. whats wrong?

 

bump- need to get this fixed before i go back to school next week

yeah i called around diff tranny shops and said synchros. any estimates on how much to fix and what else i should replace when i get it fixed.

 

It will probably be cheaper and you will have very little down time if just replaced it with a used one....
