Nice. I'll post update photos of my 3rd gen should be done painting the hood tonight. I didnt realize how hard it is to get Aztec red in spray cans. Autozone would only have 1 5oz can when ever I went there so its been a slow process.

You should just save your $$ and have it done at a shop, where they will match the paint.

It is almost impossible to match a color like ours if you don't know what you are doing.

Besides, rattle can = ghetto

Color

How come I haven't seen any cars the same color as mine? It's a drk red 89 SE. Is it stock? Or is it just that there is not many around?

Could be stock; I hardly see any the same as my sapphire blue out there, and it's stock. Just feel good yours is unique. I love the color of mine, but b/c of blemishes I want a fresh paint job, however I dread losing the great color, and I don't really have the cash to get a great paint job at the moment.

*By the way Max723, I like the look of your gauge cluster when lit up. How did you go about aquiring those?

my gauges are reverse lit ones you get from procarparts. bought them for 5$ off someone local who had a 125 cluster and ended up with the 145 gauges on mine. the autometer gauges have blue leds in them and there are blue 194 bulbs behind the cluster. blue 194 leds would probably be brighter for the needles though but they are expensive. i mounted the dimmer **** in the plate where the power comfort switch would be but it was blank since i have a 5 speed so it looks stock. everyone thinks its a gain **** for subs i dont have though.
