Well ... just wanted to post a few pics.
And I still can't believe I broke this cheapy hog-rings tool in the middle of the install
... and misplaced headrest holders ...

PS: I posted rear seat b4 if you don't remeber (these are home made, leather)

looks good. I broke some cheap hog ring pliers doing my seats so I went to my local co-op and bought some nice ones (that were much less than the cheap ones ATD1 sold me). I finished mine up and sent them to a friend...he did his seats and sent them to another friend so they are much more durable.Originally Posted by rrrfoma

Is it just me or does your headrest look a little crooked at the top? I saw some at the junkyard that looked like yours but I thought it was odd that they were crooked are they supposed to be that way?

Yes there are ... and that is on purpose - for better rear view (I have a wider Gentex mirror in my maxima. Both sides are angled a little bit inside.Originally Posted by generation3

Also (for some wired reason) I find them more comfortable this way (don't ask why - just more comfortable).

Sewing wasn't a problem - fitting was (templates making)

BTW, it was great experience - never sewed b4 ... if you decide to do something like this 2, buy a good leather capable sewing machine
Thanks guys! Funny but it's so great 2 hear a few good words!
Many would consider this as a waste of time ... which propably it is but I wanted to try
BTW, seats' backing (grey) is also leather but it is much darker then appears on the picture; it is the same grey as on the speakers shell (behind rear seat).
Also I had a closer look at door inserts today (I'm "doing" them in grey leather 2) - it appears that there is no need to remove padding ... just 2 remove fabric itself and attach leather ... sides should slide inside very easy with any L-shaped tool 0.5-0.75" wide (using adhesive as well)
