I think those KC's are slightly bigger than stock, but in my opinion they fit the car very well. I think they're also available with a variety of different lenses and bulbs, so you can use them as fogs or driving lights instead of the super-awesome highbeam floodlights we put on. I think the 3rd Gen definetly has the advantage for adding mods like this because of its' clean, straight bodylines. There's no way to do something like this on my 4th gen.

Oh and BTW, that Toyota oil filter worked wonders so far. All I have to say is I havn't heard a clack since the first few minutes of the oil change. Thanks

Mine runs a little hotter than that. After bout an hour my needle is just above center

Oh thanks for the response. I was begining to think nobody was going to respond to the gauge question. So you think mines running a bit cold, eh? Cause once it hits operating temp. it doesn't get any higher then that.

You might need to replace the t stat....I should read a little higher then that...

Temp gauge readings vary from gauge to gauge. When I swapped a VE cluster into my VG, the temp gauge read a good bit higher. Swapped the old one back in and it was back to normal. I don't think you guys can make an accurate decision on the shape of his t-stat just based off the factory gauge.

Well the car runs good, so I'll just ignore it. I do think my fuel economy could be a bit better, but I don't think it's cause Im running on the cold side. Or could it be? I think it's just a maintenance issue. Thanks anyway.

Is it me, or did the the previous owner really decide to do something drastic to get rid of the fog lights? I tried to get as many meaningful in-depth pics as possible. Maybe you can see something, cause I really don't see where they could be mounted in those cut outs. Also, no wires near there at all.

Maybe you can see something from up here, if they are actually still wired into the system.

Thanks in advance.

Hey Pervis,

You have a Toyota Previa too? I saw it in the background of one your pics above. That's what I have - a Max and Previa. I think they are both good cars to mod, koodos going mostly, of course, to the Max. Nice looking 3rd gen!

Btw, what spoiler is that. It looks hot!
Thanks.

well if there is no wire, then yes they probably removed them or moved them out of the way. if you cant find them, then maybe they are gone.

Then the previous owner is a moron, regardless of how nice he treated the car. Now I have to go to the trouble of rewiring the whole thing. Nice E36's by the way.

Thanks, it will be really nice once I can get the fogs in and take care of some rust in the back seat.
