Exhaust on a budget

Hey guys, i want to do some exhaust work and was wondering wheter i would get woth it gains if i did just a high flow catalyic converter and a warpspeed y-pipe? I want the whole warpspeed but i dont have that kind of money extra. And feel free to recommend a good catylic. Thanks

y-pipe is the way to go its the best bang for your buck you can get, as far as the cat back system i haven't heard anyone say anything about noticeble performance gains just more sound.

search through the forum and you'll find a ton if info on this

Y pipe and cat replacement is where the performance improvement is. Catback is where the sound quality (or lack of) is.

if u get the y-pipe from warpspeed, it is $200 ($160 with discount) and the cat is i think $100 all isnt incuding shipping, the whole warpspeed system is $590 i think there also might be a discount also.

If you don't have a clogged cat, there really is no reason to replace yours.

Unless you are burning lots of oil or running really rich, usually cats last a long, long time.

The y-pipe is the best "butt dyno" mod I put on my car. The Fidanza flywheel is second.
