Um, don't laugh at me guys but what is a VB upgrade? How much do they cost? What exactly does it do? How much horse power is added and does it word on a VE engine? Thanks.

VB stands for Valve Body which is the part of an automatic tranny that controls the shift points. For other info go to www.mobiltek.net .

the valve body recalibration gives the transmission 100% line pressure. i dont think it changes the shift points, it just makes the tranny shift instantly due to the 100% full line pressure. it doesnt add horsepower, but is good for .5 off your e/t at least. well worth it, and many people can actually chirp the tires in between shifts after the vb mod. its a must if your looking to build up your auto. and best of all it actually helps the tranny last longer. don in texas does them for about $400 i think.
