for vg its behind the upper intake cover/plenum, driver side, it has a hose running from the rear valve cover to it.

You can save a few $$$ if you just take them out and clean them with some carb cleaner.....Old trick.....

^^^that's what I had to do on my VE, i went to 2 different stores (Autozone and Advance Auto) and the one that they had in the book didn't come close to the one on my car. Theirs was plastic and had no screw-in threads, mine screwed in with a 19mm socket.

It helped my idle quite a bit, but is not perfect, I may have to hit the dealer.

Took a 1/2 inch flexible socket tool too for me to get to it

Eh....I dunno. The old one is discolored inside, I figure eventually I'll want to replace it altogether. Idle was very stable the first week, but slowly it is developing moments of bouncing.

Even if price gouging, dont hit em...

Bouncing: air leak or IACV stepper motor sticKing causing over/under 'steering' & correction.

Edit: heres a good IAC tech link: http://www.megasquirt.info/ms2/IAC.htm
