Fuel Pump Question

How do you know if your fuel pump is going out?

My problem is surging I do have 6 new injectors on the way... I also have done all the regular maintence on my car 90 GXE...but here lately it is getting harder to start and is also stalling when putting into drive.

Any Ideas

Usually...The fuel pump will just die and your car will just not run at all...

I would say it's pretty difficult to say "for sure" since your diagnosis description is all of 4 sentences. "Surging" can be one of about 10+ different things.

But I'm confident it's fuel, air or electrical in nature.

These cars hardly ever give a code for anything....Except the knock sensor going and/or sub harness going bad....And also may codes that are given in obdI computers are not accurate, they usually throw a code for something that isn't even the problem.....You really need a fsm to decode what is really causing the code....
