glad to say a mechanic at a nissan dealer said the tickign was not the vtc's but rather an exhaust stud (not sure if both or just one)....so looks like i dont have to dish out a lot of $$ to get this problem fixed. as for the oil leak it is prob comign from the engine crank where a seal is prob broken, but nothing is sure yet. i will find out all the details on friday
Exhaust stud jobs can run you.......
$800+(so I've heard) depending on the severity and I guess if its on the rear or front exhaust manifold. you can also do it yourself with the right tools and a lot of patience!
