145mph White gauges in my 125mph GXE
#2
I think your speedo will be off....
since the MPHs will be at different angles since there are more MPH markings included on the 145 speedo than the 125....(I'm guessing)
for example on friends Eclipse his speedo goes to 160 and his 60 mph mark is at a 45 degree angle on the speedo and my 60 mph mark is at a 90 degree angle on my speedo....its not a good comparison to the Maxima speedos, but you get the point.

Bill...while your on it about the odometer
How would a report like carfax know if your odometer was rolled back, like they claim they report on? I don't see any way on how they would know unless you had a title exchange with less miles then on a previous one. Not too smart on the owners part. I don't want to do this, but j/w.

Sure it can. All you have to do is purchase a new speed sensor for a 92 to 94 SE Maxima (with the VE engine). Then, go to a junkyard and find an SE gauge cluster from a 92 to 94 SE and replace (and, of course, turning the odometer properly to your present mileage). The new speed sensor will be calibrated for 145 instead of 125 and you're done!

So, have you seen this done? Where does the speed sensor go?
