wierd shutter while driving

When I am driving on the freeway I get a strange shutter every once in awhile and to fix it i have to press the gas a little bit. It only happens when I am at free way speeds and the front end like shakes roughly. I havent been able to figure out why it happens but would like to fix it before I give my Maxima up.

For some odd reason car engines need tuneup. Cars without it, always keep drivers wonderin.

i had the exact same problem with my Max if you let off the gas or hit it goes away and it only seems to do it on the freeway. The problem was my fuel injectors. When i took them out it looked like someone stuffed the ports with coffee grounds. You probly have the pink top fuel injectors. my machinc told me that Max's had alot of problems with them. Only solution is to excahnge them all you can not get away with just a few. Make sure they are all the same you can not mix and mach. I got mine off ebay and i think it cost me about $100 bucks shipped and they were already on a fuel rail. Which made it a little easier. But not by much. Gasket kit was another $40 or $50 and $10 for a 12 pack for me and my buddy. w have it done in about 3 to 5 hours. Just make sure you labal all you hoses!! and clean out the port!!! an keep track of all the bolts!!

i saw whole south America (visited Tijuana).

i know everythin (i am 18).

Might be injectors, just might (below 5% probability). Once opened the hood, saw Maxima is slightly more than six injectors.

well i'm glad for you but my max is only a 6 cylinder so mine only has 6 fuel injectors... wait you have the same motor maybe yours has a "special" engine. didn't know the VG30E came in a V12? or is that a V10 maybe a V8
so how was Tijuana?
still have that dollar??
by the way i remember when i was 18 really sucked. i had nothing better to do than drink and get laid... well i guess i could have spent all my time online talking SH** online guess that would have been better.
I was only telling him what happen to me kinda sounds like what happen to my car.
So no need to throw your 2 cents in a 3 cent conversation

No, I threw out the $ (when I was 18 =wisest on earth, now I am the stupido...)

My msg: problem maybe SO, probability maybe 3%, cannot even ever never be the "exact same".

Have A Nice day.

when u say "press the gas a little bit" do u mean actually go faster or just simply giving it a little gas? if your shutter only occurs at a specific speed you may have a rotation vibration which is most commonly an unbalanced wheel when speaking of highway speeds. do your wheels have weights on them? they actually do fall off. people will also note this shutter after a wheel rotation when their otherwise unnoticed shuttering rear wheels (unnoticed because the mass of the car body tends to dampen it enough) are brought up to the front.

Shutter, stutter, sputter, glutter, mutter... whatever it was.

If engine drops dead, seek for one explicit problem source. In a six cyl vehicle, that has to be high up in the flowchart.

Figure out driving with a one cyl vehicle. Plug dies. What happens?
Figure out driving with a 2 cyl vehicle. Plug dies. What happens?
Figure out driving with a 3 cyl vehicle. Plug dies. What happens?
Figure out driving with a 4 cyl vehicle. Plug dies. What happens?
Figure out driving with a 5 cyl vehicle. Plug dies. What happens?
Figure out driving with a 6 cyl vehicle. Coilpack dies. What happens?

1. Dies instantly
2. Shutters
3. Sputters, but u get home
4. Glutters, eh wassup, must check
5. Mutters, is tHere smtg wrong
6. 95% of ppl dont even notice - and six coilpacks never commit six-pack suicide.

have you had a flat tire....got that problem lately...used a flat repair can which reflates the tire and seals the hole...but after a while it created liquid in the tire which moved and hit the tire walls at certains speeds...which caused shudder. it is not likely your problem....but, u never know

Well, as I said: IF this car is an automatic, I'd bet that the problem is that your torque converter is going away.
My car did the same thing, at a certain RPM it wouldn't shift down, and I got a real bad stutter. Tip into the gas a little more and it would shift down and eliminate the stutter.
Prepare to replace your tranny, or at least your torque converter.
