hey guys...i owna 1992 max se 5spd which i recently purchased with 133,000 miles on it...and this weekend have to replace the exhaust studs, seal in the crankshaft and do my front brakes, buy my main question is should i invest $ into it or leave it the way it is? i love modified 3rd gen max's with the cold air intakes, exhasut systems and nice rims with springs. but im afraid if i invest the $ then the car might die or when i sell the car ill just lose all the $...well so far all ive done is take the nissan emblem off the front grille...if anyone has any inpu ton this then i would liek to hear from you..thanks

Well, I have a 92 SE and my car just raced beyond 145,000 miles! I have it lowered, 98SE wheels, with intake and exhaust. I love it. You have many miles to go!

Dont worry my car now has over 202,000 miles on it.Like my freind Dirk said you have a long ways to go.And moding a car and worrying about it die is something every car owner has to worry about. When my car dies it will just give me a excuse to do a full on N/A build up.

Your car sounds like mine when I bought it. It had 130,000 on it, and soon after I bought it the studs had to be fixed, and new breaks. The car now has 144,000 on it and it is strong and tough as hell. Keep it, mod it, enjoy it, and welcome aboard!
