Has anyone replaced their lenses? I just got two new ones from Courtesy but I can't get the housing off the one side to screw one of the new lens' on. Any tips to getting it off. The left assembly had 4 nuts holding it on, but the right doesn't.

there's one bolt holding each one one and then 2 small screws I believe
lay on your back under the car and you will see what I'm talking about
it's the main large bolt seen in both these pics

if those links don't work, goto
http://www.geocities.com/bracecraig/maxima/new/ and hit refresh a few times til it comes up and choose fog2 and fog3

I think they were about $25 each plus shipping. The hard is part is getting the old ones off.

I also replaced mine, and got them from courtesy. I hated the fact that the old ones were incredibly pitted and made the beam projection more diffuse. When you replace the lense you should go ahead and do the bulbs. I put in 85w hella yellow stars and I love them.

Did you ask for the ORG discount. $25 sounds like retail price to me.

Well, they quoted my $26 over the internet, but when I got it the receipt said $30 retail, and the price I got was $23 each.

Anyways, the big problem is, all of the bolts/screws are rusty, and there is so little room that I can't get any leverage on them to even try to get the housing off of the car. I got the one side off, but it's the right side that I'm having trouble with, because there is no room to get anything near the mounting screws. I think I'm going to have to take it to someone to remove it, that's how bad it is.

i had to replace my bulbs a couple of weeks ago and i had the same problem. there is no use trying to take off the actual lense, i just ended up taking the whole housing off. i dont remember exaclty what i did, but it was much easier.
