Subwoofer Box!

Does anybody know of a site out there that gives directions on how to build a subwoofer box?? Im after one for a 10 inch sub

Any help would be appreciated!

It really depends all on the sub itself and the amount of air the sub requires for adequate movement. There should be specifications that come with most woofers. Try posting on the Audio and Electronics portion of this site. The guys that hang out there will be able to tell you more.

And if you're REALLY desperate, drop me a line. Give me your speaker model, and which generation car you'll be putting it in. I'll get the measurements for you, and then all you have to do is cut away!!!

I knew all that speaker-building software would come in handy after I closed my shop down....

I am seeling my old box with 2 15's jl audio

Thee box is seale 2chamber dual 2.50= total 5 cubic feet. The box was custom made for my car, it slide's 1/4 of an inch below the rear speaker magnet's andinto the deep part of the trunk against the rear seat, it fit's right into that space. if you are interested let me know

My thoughts exactly. Even if you don't have JL Audio subs, you can find some useful info. Also, check www.mtxaudio.com

Thats a big box for JL's. Which modle do you have? I have 2 15W4 D2 and my box is about half the size, But mine share airspace thats why the box is smaller.
