I noticed the little reminder that theres gonna be a Nissan meeting and I'm wondering if any of you guys from the 3rd gen forum are gonna be there. I wanna go but would feel kinda left out with the other nissan people I dont know. Its only 18 miles from Chicago for those who are familiar with the chicagoland area..

I would love to come up from Peoria but I'm doing the wraps on my 92 SE project and I have to work at 2pm.

 

Damn I didnt think Peoria was that far from Chicago..you're about 170 miles from Busse Woods and 167 from Chicago. Is it all cornfield there?

 

I live in town. Peoria is very hilly (for Illinois) so you have to go out a bit to see corn.

 

So I ended up going to the meet, although 3 hours late there was still about 10 cars there. couple 4th gens, about 95 240sx and a few earlier 240s, 1 200sx and an altima. Was there for about 1 hour talking with the guys all pretty cool, I had the only 3rd gen but supposedly there were about 35-40 Nissans ealier in the meet. These guys all got pretty nice cars, lovely deep sounds.

Most likely gonna be hanging out with the local Nissans on Tuesdays

I used to live in Chicago...Maybe I'll come down for a meet when the weather gets warm again.

HAHA...It's not that it's that cold up here, we just get @ss tons of snow! I witnessed 3 feet fall in less than six hours last winter.

I wonder if I see more snow than Wiking?
