Yesterday when I tried to unlock my doors from the passenger side. I pushed the key in, and suddenly the whole lock thingy fell into the door. Now I just have a hole there.
Can someone tell me how to open up the door panels and get to the inside of the door and find that lock thingy and put it back where it belongs???

Thanks in Advance!

Basically

Open the door. You'll see two grommets that cover screws on the forward portion of the door panel. Take the grommets off and take out the screws. Next, on the forward part of the door handle, there's a grommet, take off, and it will expose a screw. Remove this screw. Third, lift the door release lever and you'll see a cover. Pry this cover off witha flat-head screw driver. You'll see two phillips head screws exposed. Remove these and your door handle should come off. Now pry off the power window switch panel gently and unplug the electrical connector. This should expose the remaining phillips head screw that holds the door panel to the door.

Gently pry the door panel off the door. After all the snap of tabs have come off. Slide the door panel up and it should come off.

You'll see a plastic rain/moisture guard inside the door. Gently remove this (try not to tear it) and you should now be able to see behind the door panel.

Door panels installation tips:

Ensure that the door lock/unlock tab at the top of the door panel lines up when reninstalling the door panel.

Make sure all the snap on tabs for the door panel lines up before you snap them back on. These are very easy to bend/misalign if you're in a hurry.

Good luck.

use a panel puller,

There like 5 buck's with a lifetime warranty at autozone, that way there you won't flex your panel and make it look like crap once you put it back on, and saves muchtime
