98 rims on a 90

My chrome rims on my 90 SE are pretty much shot. The rims themselves are in great shape, no curb rash or anything but after 16 years the chrome is peeling, alot! The inside on one was missing a 3 x 8 patch of chrome. Anyway, the car is my daily driver now but my 225/55/16 tires still have about 70% life left and I completely hate cleaning the pockets in the stock rims (and the tires are bald). Anyway, I've seen some used 98 rims and I'm wondering if they will fit. Any thoughts on how they would look on our cars. Mine is black. Thanks!

I have a nice set that I would be willing to sell for the right price.

I love those SE rims on the 3rd gen. It really makes the car look so much better and a lot sportier.

I don't recall you saying how much you paid. I doubt I would price match if it's low, since I like the wheels and I might end up using them later on. I was thinking they would make good track wheels, since 16 inch tires are quite a bit cheaper than 17s, while 15s seem to flex a lot.

Yea I heard 16 is a good size for the track but not sure why. My rims with tires were $180, to be honest I still owe 80 bucks for the rims and 20 for the speakers that I got from the same person.

Hey guys, thanks for the feedback. I think I'm gonna trying getting them. Who is Craig? I'd like to check out more pictures of his setup and see what size tires he's running. I like to stuff my 225/55s on them if possible since I've still got thread left on them.
