I found a great deal on struts...

Hey guys,
I just bought new Monroe struts(both front) for a little over $60 shipped from ebay. They are stock replacement and not performance. I think that it's a hell of a deal. Just go to ebay and type in 89 maxima in ebay motors. There is an auction for 89-94 struts. Just thought I'd share...

P.S.
it's amazing how cheap the parts became for the 3rd gens. I have the feeling vendors/retailers are trying to get rid of inventory. Not so long ago indigo gauges were close to $40 shipped and now you get them for $13...nice

gotta love close outs and the warranty they come with.
oh yeah, they don't come with one

BTW I was talking to a company about regulators and motors, they are discontinued (from this particular place) but I don't doubt that a lot of other companies will be doing the same
shame I don't have the spare money to buy out their inventory

I got ripped the hell off from my mechanic when one of my front struts seized up and I had to drive 60 miles down the road looking like 3 wheel motion. $400 installed for 2 front struts Those Monroe's are just your plain jane strut, nothing special whatsoever. I replaced my rears myself with KYBs.
