think so? whats your experience with them. Ive used both, they are ok. They are much better than a OEM set at 130K+. In college I dropped a Mitsubishi eclipse on GR's and then the same year model 2 years later with the Gabriels (why you ask cuz at the time I was working at autozone) Both had the same H&R spring. The ride was much better with the gabriels and the rears blew out quickly on the GR's.

I wouldnt dare use them unless I was in a situation like I am in now

my experience is severe mistrust of a company that won't sell to anyone other than bigbox stores. which basically means they'll sacrifice quality for price

Let us know how that works out for ya, by the way..if they dont accept it at the autozone where you buy the other one, better hurry your *** up and go to another autozone before the first one calls the others and warns them of a scam, not that it is, but a chain company I worked for was like that.

good condition, they were on my parts car and it had about 217K. They arent blown or anything. I dont know when they were replaced. All I can say is they work. actually drop the price to say $40 plus shipping. $10 a strut doesnt seem so bad.

^ beat me to the answer
you can actually live without dustboots, but that dramatically shortens the lifespan of the strut

yep I agree...id say what maybe a year without them... I have AGX on my 96se with dustboots for a while now no one issue.

I used them without dustboots on a previous 3rd gen....clunkety clunk in 6 months. If you use a cheap strut you DEF want dustboots and of course you want to cross your fingers

i plan on getting rid of the max in the spring anyway lol. but maybe i will decide to leave it in pretty good shape for the next owner. i want to sell the max to move on to a rearwheel drive car, for some reason i really want one. i want a 300zx. but my stepdad knows a guy with a mint. condition 97 mustang gt. lol, but i'm sure i will be back in a maxima at somepoint, i love these cars, espcecially the 3rd gen.

the 5.0 only went untill 1995 then the gt's had the 4.6 sohc and the cobra's got the dohc 4.6. but the 4.6 sohc produces just as much power as the 5.0 so it's still nice. the cobra's put out 305+ hp pretty sick.

Didnt the 5.0 stop in 93 cuz I think I read something about it long time ago. IMO the only mustang I would want would be an SVT Cobra or a Saleen..oh well enjoy!
