what years had the egr temp senor

what years had the egr temp senor

I was wondering what years had the egr tempture sensor and with didnt. I got two diffrant 93 motors and one has it one dont. Im going to the junk yard tommorow to get an ecu and im trying to get one that dont have it. Most of the motor have been pulled from the cars!

I think it's only the 94 Cali spec Max that had the EGR temp sensor. I don't know if it's both VG and VE or just one

My 89SE and 91SE cali spec cars both have it, so its not just 94 specific. Its also not just cali spec specific either, either 93 or 94 the fed spec had it too.

Based on this, I would say a 92 fed spec ECU is a safe choice.
