So I buffed/waxed my car for the first time

As you read on the title, my first time using a buffer and puttin wax on a car. Sure got rid of a lot of paint oxidation and left it shinier. Not glass like but certainly shinier than before. I plan on posting some pics but just waiting to see if my friend will let me use her 5.1 MP cam. For now I'm just wondering if any of you have done this and what products you use *and recommend. I want my car super shiney until I can get some body work done on it. Oh and please dont send me to the "detailing" section as I already went there.

Also while I'm here maybe someone can tell me if there's a way to make the sig stay on permanently without clicking on it everytime before posting?

And how can I get a Maxima.org sticker?

like tripleg said try a clay bar, mothers puts out a kit that has everything you will need, it will really shine up you car and its pretty easy to do. as for wax i use meguires black gold or something i dont remember off the top of my head, but you will get alot more suggestions in the detail section.

I have allways had good luck with a multi step wax.. Rember A WAX DOES NOT POLISH.
meguires makes a simple 3 step wax that i like .. FIRST UP is the cleaner this does what it says removes all blemishes and gets all the crud tree sap bugs what ever.
Then go to step 2 wax this seals your paint finish (thats it)... final step WHAT YOU WANT is a Polish this brings out that nice deep luster that your looking for.....

now some kits comine STEP1 and STEP2 with a Cleaner wax and you can go that way as well.. so all you have to do is polish..

hope this info helps

So I just bought myself a new 5.2 MP digital cam...got kinda tempted.. Went out and took pics of the car I'm currently installing the software but I will add pics into my "msn spaces" and post a link after I've uploaded the pics. Do any of you know if I can post the pics to show up normally here? just click "IMG link IMG"?
