Hey, what's happening Maxima owners? I have a 90 Maxima SE 5sp & whenever I accelerate in 1st gear or in reverse I hear this whinning noise. I have no clue what makes this noise as i accelerate, so anyone wanna take a shot at this noise and help me out here?

I feel your pain, don't pay more than 1200$, make sure your not low on fluid, make sure your clutch housing bolts and tranny to clutch bolts are tight, check the runout of the clutch housing, make sur fluid is not burned or dirty it could have s@#t in it,if all is good, it is probally the gearshift mech., bearing part's, or the actual tranny gears in which case i would have to say, better you than me GOODLUCK!
