weird speedo problems

weird speedo problems

Ok my speedo onely works up in till 22 mph then quiets and returns to 0mph. ok the ecu dont show code 14 (speedsensor) Ok so I went to the junk yard and got me another cluster thinking that was the problem. Ok the junkyard one works to like 15mphand then cuts to 0mph. has anyone had this problem before or what wrong with my car? Do I have two bad cluster or is the speedsensor bad?

are the speed sensor the same for the ve tranny as the vg tranny 5speeds. And does the auto have the same one or are they differant

i know when i cracked the litte tab off of my speedo sender unit that hold it into the trans since then if i put it in crooked or twisted it acts weird.. dunno if that could be a part of the prob or not just a thought..
