I had a cracked hose that went from the heater control valve to the engine itself and while it was cracked, I could really smell it in the cabin. I let the car run for awhile after replacement the hose for about 20mins, checked for leaks of new replacement and it looked good. However, I did spill some in the engine bay around where it was leaking and I think it was the smell of it burning off something that got really hot. You guys think the smell will go away pretty soon?

 

yeah it will go away....Go take it for a good long drive to aid in the smell removal....

 

Cool I'll give it a try when I go out later tonight.
