natural to smell antifreeze after spilling some in the bay after hose replacement?
I had a cracked hose that went from the heater control valve to the engine itself and while it was cracked, I could really smell it in the cabin. I let the car run for awhile after replacement the hose for about 20mins, checked for leaks of new replacement and it looked good. However, I did spill some in the engine bay around where it was leaking and I think it was the smell of it burning off something that got really hot. You guys think the smell will go away pretty soon?
I'll give it a try when I go out later tonight.
