Your going to laugh, really. While changing axles I screwed up and removed the 5th/reverse check bolt, well the spring ang check ball came out as well. Problem is the check ball bounced down the driveway, never to be seen again. Anyone have the part # or just one they want to sell me??

I thought my luck was bad. If I find a parts trans I will gladly give you the parts. My trans has chewed up the shaft for the release bearing. So now I need the whole clutch housing. I guess someone forgot to lube shaft and throwout bearing when changing out the clutch.

Actually... I bet that shaft got screwed up from a bad input shaft bearing. I let mine go to long and it did the exact same thing. (when i first had the car and wasn't sure what was going on... most told me throw out bearing but they had never dealt with a borg warner tranny from a maxima before ).

I think they do that from the bearing going out, which I think has a high chance of going out due to vibrations since the input shaft doesn't use the pilot bushing. When the bearing goes out, that would only allow even more play in the shaft which I would think could easily cause that aluminum sleeve/shaft to break.
