slightly confused with max today

ok so i was checkin my car out after i got to work today since i couldnt put the car in reverse. no idea about that, but i bumped the plug on the maf and the car just died. should i unplug it and clean it or what??

and about the tranny. the linkage was fine, but at first the car would only go in drive and neutral. it took a bit of force to get it into reverse and then park, and i checked and it didnt want to go into 2 or 1 but now it is fine

like i said i was confused

time to save up man, your auto tranny is .... and oh yeah, let your car warm up in the morning first, old tranny + syrup like fluid due to low temp + oil starvation(couple seconds) + lead foot = destruction.

i havent flush/filled the fluid in it my self. well, actually after i got in my accident and needed to replace the radiator i had about half the fluid come out so it got new fluid to refill. and a few months back one of those hoses from the tranny to the radiator got a tear some how and the car leaked out a bit of tranny fluid. i was on the road so i ran right to the closest auto store. felt the tranny slip only once and that was just before i got there. think i could have damaged it that bad??? and why would i only feel it now?? this has never happened before, and since yesterday its been perfectly fine.
