Starting Problem
Starting Problem
Car will turn-over but will not start. Put new plugs, new fuel filter,etc.. Timing belt is turning over.. I can smell gas so should be good there. Oxygen sensor in front of the calyc.converter maybe? Any ideas?

I just went through this with my Daily driver. It sat for 2 years then i bought it and fixed it.
I did a tune up and it misfired. Make sure the plugs are in the right order and you have spark. Make sure the connector on the coil is plugged in. then get a timing light and check the timing. if thats not your problem its probably bad injectors. Thats my problem. Ive put 350 miles on them and it hasnt cleared up so im swapping in my extra set of 6 that does run good. Thats most likely your problem if its not lack of spark.
our car has one o2 sensor in the y pipe, just before the cat converter.
