I had my trunk shaved before I painted my car. Because of the weight put on by welding a piece of metal the trunk is heavier now. I need help on adjusting it.

 

Well I think you gotta elaborate more on what you want to adjust. If you want to adjust the latch there are 2 screws that you loosen on the bottem part of the latch and once they are loose you can move the mechanism up or down... Not sure if this is what you mean.
