That's pretty neat.. looks good. I wonder who decided to fab those up and if they're actually being produced

They look like they're not just one-off's

Although there's no place to mount the corner lights

And who's car is that in the pic? I know I've seen it before

Cool item, but he's asking a bit much for a bracket.

I think it's a fair price for bolt on E36 lights (although I'd like to see how they actually fit up and how the corner light is supposed to mount)

If I had the resources to mass produce an E36 light bracket I'd charge the same thing. This guy would've made a fortune if he'd done this 5 years ago

after the lights and etc...the cost of the mod would be like 1/4 to 1/3 the cost of an average 3rd gen.

for $100 that sucker better fit like a glove.

someone ask if he's willing to do a GD

yeah like anyone would actually buy them!
i think it's expensive too for what it is, but taking into consideration there's 2 and hardware, not to mention the time to fabricate them and that they're stainless steel, the price is reasonable. i just thought it was cool that he put that much time and energy into what looks like a really nice product. there may even be a place to mount the corner lights(there's a bunch of hardware along with it, it seems)
dont know how they fit without notching the rad suppt, maybe they just stick out a little further than normal.

But you're one of the few guys capable of making them look nice

90% of the other guys with e36 lights look like crap and they dont even realize it's because of the guys' cruddy mAd p3rf0rmanc3 custUmz y0

well the brackets really have nothing to do with making them flush mount...thats all in the lens you use. I know that Nj93Vi3tMax's are flush mount because I helped him with them when he decided to do it.

Forget getting anything from the guy. A while back some company stole my engine bay pics for their CAI listings. I didnt even buy my CAI from them. I had to go through several emails to them and ebay before it was taken down and they quit using them. And yes I am 100% sure it was my engine bay since it (the engine bay) was painted IS300 intensa blue.

Threaten to get a Lawyer. They are useing your "likeness" without express permission. Internet schmiternet, it's illeagle. That aught atleast get you a set of brackets. If this guy was legit we would have seen these here. Really just google maxima message board, oddly enough Maxima.org if #3, but sooooo easy to find. I think this guy bought this or had it made and is scamming.

I thought that was MY write up AND images for the BMW install on Skymax's page? There are a couple of pages that posted two different write ups I did but I never got credit. I did those long ago for the stock Max bracket after Need4power left the forum having also done the install. I'd just like some credit for what I've written and the images is all. I'm done whining.

Not get a lawyer, just threaten, you know, pitch for a free set in exchange for pimping the goods.
