jacking up the car

hey guys im wondering when you jack up the front of your car where do you put the jack stands?

I believe I had mine under the front support for the bumper and radiator.

you put them under the support rail thingys on both sides of the underbody.

i put mine under the lower control arm under the rear bushing for it.

i think the safest thing to do is put them where they are supposed to go. there are rails on both sides underneath the car between the front and rear wheels, can't miss em.

yea i use the rails for the rear. and i also use the rails for jacking up the car.

I would use the control arm, but I didn't need jack stands.
I used a lift instead

haha you where the one who told me to use the control arm and it feels safe. i mean i shook the car around while it was on the jack stand and it being under the control arm. i think i ran into the door once to just to make sure it didnt move. hah and yea i use the lift in the shop also. its so much easier and quicker.
