Hi I have a rip in my seat where the seam is in the middle.
I called a upholstering shop and they said 65-75 dollars
to fix. Has anyone had this problem b-4? Does this seem
like a good price? Also is it easy to take the seat out
and fix myself? not much of a seamstress here. d.w.

My driver seat is ripped up pretty bad also...It is leather though...I would love find a good replacement seat for it out of a yard,but i just can't find leather seats for these cars in good shape in any local yards around here..

Take it to the upholstering shop if you want it to look good....

when i did it myself, the leather shrunk and nothing matched up properly.....so you might wanna take it somewhere to do it.. i did it all by hand, and my fingers hurt for weeks

for sure... I sat back, drank a few beers and thought for 65-75 bucks.... my time and effort is worth at least $100 for just getting out of the house.lol So
I will take it to the shop.... I'll try to get pics to see how good their work
is.
