Leaks, Fuel Injector, and more fun stuff!

1990 SE Maxima VG30 all stock

Well I have noticed that my trunk leaks and do not want to do any work back there until I have that leaked fixed. Now I am almost positive it is coming from the back right corner (near the tail-light) of the trunk I was thinking it might be a bad seal, but the seals all look good. I did notice that my spoiler has a bad seal and lots of rust running down from it (no picture right now, sorry...I'll get one tomorrow). Could this be the source of my leak, and if it is, what would be the best way to remedy this problem?

Basically I was curious about that and if anyone knew of any other places that usually have problem with leaks.

As for the fuel injectors...how hard is it to replace these little pests (back and front) and about how much does each injector cost? I've also noticed recently that once in awhile my transmission (auto) will get really hot at times (the empty space right below the e-Brake and behind the shifter). Any ideas on this?

I've also have had some big problems with oil leaks! I kid you not, it leaks so bad that when I am at a stop, smoke from the burning oil will rise up and people look at me like my car is over heating (it's kinda funny actually at times!). I've tried to look at where the leak is, but to do so the smoke of course has to be coming out...and then I get a huge headache from the smoke! Any areas here that might be prone to such a thing?

1: check the seal around the tail lights.

2. injectors are fairly easy to do yourself, just do all 6 at one time to save headaches. Brand new ones will run you $60 ea

3. that space is where your catalytic converter is, yoou may be missing a heat shield

4. probably your valve cover leaking onto an exhaust manifold

Just did fuel injector replacement. Took about 3 hours, in and out. Pretty straightforward. Go ahead and buy a 6mm hex (allen) socket. You will need it.
