So just wondering if anyone from the 3rd gen forum will be attending the Chicago Auto Show? I read something on the Chicago Maxima Club about a couple of people from here going but not sure.. so who's going if anybody?

 

I'm going to be there on the 18th. Most people are going on opening weekend, I think.

Can't do it on the 11th...Starting wednesday night and going thru sunday is Michigan Tech's winter carnival. Basically it's the biggest event of the year in this po-dunk town. Anyway, I got friends and family coming up to join in this 4 day bender!

No, the GTO won't make an appearance. Its sleeping right now where the Max should be. Although, I might go with my Bro and Sis - in my old '89. We'll see.

Its pretty much been well known that the GTO wouldn't exist for at least 2 years after '06. Its funny that its almost as rare of a car as my 944 that is 20 years old. Although, the other day, a well respected 'gm insider' (read, he works there) said to listen for a GTO announcement next summer. We'll see...

 

It'll be fun to meet some other Orgers. I will be seeing Brian to pick up my suspension setup. Looking forward to the trip!

Well,(almost) everyone is able to go on the 11th so we decided to do it that day. If you want I can still go cuz I'm off that day, if they got that "come again tomorrow free or 1/2" I might just meet with you 2 too lol
