ecu compatibility?

ecu compatibility?
Would a vg ecu operate similarly and be compatible if it was in a ve car? Thanks

Nope. Two different animals. I believe even a VE 5-sp / Auto ecus are different due to the power valve option.

If you need a 5-sp VE ecu, I have one for sale.

Yeah, I hooked up Shawn's spare AT ECU (from his ooold black car) and it worked OK, but you could tell it was different. No VI.

I have a spare, too, but it's not for sale...

i have a VE auto ECT and TCU... same with a VG auto TCU and ECU for sale
