well i got into another accident (pics)

somethign happened and i guess my back tires locked up or somethign broke.....back end went to the right, hit the curb at 50 MPH then spun around (passenger rear hit first), then i did a 180 across traffic and went into the other lane and hit the passenger front tire against a sewer drainage thing and my car went airborne, but landed on its wheels (thank god!) then did a 180 in the air and landed.. here are the pics of when i got home..... i broke my passenger wheel hub (where the steering control arm attatches), also in the rear i b roke a rod, bent another rod and broke somethign else... here are pics

LOL!... i was so lucky that no body was coming in the other direction, or i would have probably been dead, my guess is that somethign broke because in the rear there was a rod in the rear that had broken, but that may have broken when i hit the curb, i dunno since the other rod was bent

Glad you are OK. No ticket or anything?? You can tell us the truth---were you just driving along nicely minding your own business-- or were you giving the vans-in-the-parking-lot shuffle

dude, wooden block under the gas pedal. You REALLY need to stop having "accidents" Im sure your first accidents have contributed to the weakness of your suspention.

i was doing 50 MPH and minding my own buisiness.... with the previous incidents, it was my front tire hitting, not my rear

check everything when you get it running again. Don't want another thing breaking and sending you flying again

garenteed he got into an accident drivign normal. my theory is when ur driving like a a$$hole (like me) you have 100% of yoru attention on the road. you giving all yoru attention to driving quickly and do w/e turns... so forth. When u relax and ur fidgiting with your stereo. falling asleep. or just plain relaxed cause ur about to get home, that when you get into the accident.

Wow.. your accident is almost exactly what happend to me 2 years ago! at that time i paid about CDN$2000 to get the car back on the road. Since then I learned the lesson to not cheap out on getting tires when they wear old.

Ever since that time, the car hasn't been the same tho. The sub-frame is messed up, so now i got sticky doors on the passenger side. I'm currently thinking of ditching it for a z31 since a bunch of other things have gone wrong on my max.

Having been there, done that.. I know your max prolly kept you safe without a single injury eh.. We should feel lucky...

I am going to second the "parking-lot-shuffle" may have contributed to this accident.

Good thing you weren't hurt and too bad for the poor Maxima.

Drifting is fun in a fwd car, lol. Just tap the brakes before a high speed turn (weight transfer), then keep it under control with gas, steering, and maybe a little braking.

Just kidding, glad your ok man.

Vans,
I think it is time to make that one a parts car. If it breaks something critical just going down the road, what's next? If I was your Dad I'd probably kick your a'ss.
No one wants to see you get hurt.

Damn vans, sorry to hear. It doesn't seem to be that bad though.

Anybody know what could have caused the rear to go out on him like that? Just doesn't seem to make sense to me. The tires were still on the car.. What can break to make that happen?

same thing haoppend to me on my first 3rd gen my back tires were real bald and it just slipped and spun. but was only going like 35 so i was able to contain it after if happend. this is ht reason why you need to make sure all your tires are in tip top shape

lol I know, what makes it worse is the angle....thats the stock gap isnt it? wheels 215/55/16 compared to 205/65/15...they're about same size all together. I'll lower it when I put new struts. If you think thats wheel gap you should see my friends eclipse with stock 14s and a bodykit

well i fixed all the bent stuff and broken stuff today, the front end looks kinda weird still....the passenger front tire is still straight, but pushed back a little.. so i think my new lower control arm is bent, and in the rear, i think my srtut is bent or my hub is messed up... i took all the rods and stuff from my parts car

They are Ro_Ja Formula 5s. 18x7, 2 piece forged, 18 lbs each.

These wheels were originally white but awsm66 painted them silver before he sold me the car they are mounted on and the wheels. I love them as well. These wheels are STRONG and look great.
