New to me VE

well I finally ( ) got a good VE A/T
body is nice and clean, no rust that I saw.
Grey on grey, just like my last one
133k on it, just like my last one
It still has fully functional Bose
ABS (questionable functionality)

it does need:
Clock
Climate control head
2 injectors (assumption on my part. 2 cylinders are missing)
left tail light (I'm just being fussy)

I'll probably post up some pics of it tomorrow, once she gets a FULL inspection

well considering that I got $700 for that POS maroon one without the leather interior this puppy would probably be in the 2-3k range.
But she isn't for sale. tomorrow is thursday... I may just go up collect my mail and register her.

so you bringing me a control head?

Just try to park this one in places where it won't get ticketed. If you do get tickets, PAY THEM, so you aren't forced to strip the car and watch it roll on a flatbed to Maxima heaven.

I'll have more requests tomorrow once the overview is done

it's weird, if I have the sunroof in the up position, there is no wind noise at all. If I close it, there's noise

yeah I know when I saw the pic of it out on the street all stripped I was kicking myself. Just a few interior piece like the A-pillar cover the arm rest cover and maybe an exterior body panel or two . But currently I'm more interested in finding a 5spd tranny so I can do a swap this summer instead of cosmetic things.

I have the same problem. Mine was rear-ended bad awhile back and as a result, the rear part of the sun-roof goes down a tad bit too much and the front part actually sticks up, causing a gap towards the front. Plus, the the front part of the sun-roof sticking up, it caused more turbulance.

It's barely noticeable to the eye, but when I compare it to my brother's car (same model by 3 months), it's like night and day. Maybe yours just needs to be adjusted to fit more snug.

Just the one between the front seats, its no biggie the only reason I was thinking about it is because mine is pretty dirty and cleaning it hasn't really worked.

Flippin' cars

Do you do any work on the cars before you sell them? Looks like you did well with that Camry. What year and how many miles? I would like to do the same thing but here in Cali, I think you need some special dealer permit if you start buying & selling cars within a short timespan.

Off topic:
I need brakes for 2 VGs. I drive soft so I don't need slotted/X-drilled, but I do want good stopping capability for when ppl cut in front of me. I'd also like low dust/noise if possible. I was going to get EBC Greenstuff but heard on the board that organics will eat through my stock rotors. Can you recommend a set of pads or pads/rotors combo? I'm going to try and reuse my rotors; don't think they're warped or too thin. I've checked your site and don't know which pads and/or rotors to use together.

thanks
james

1. I do do things to some of the cars. I didn't buy any them with the intent to sell them, I just kept finding better options.
2. I need a license if i sell more than 6 cars a year I think it is.

3. bendix and brembo is probably the best combo for you and most people
